The dragon lantern show of the She ethnic group in Jiangxi province's Huichang has more than 300 years of history. A dragon lantern is made of seven small parts that are interchangeable. The She people perform this show during every important festival and celebration. During the show, the performers will change the formation of the dragon lantern parts to spell different Chinese characters.
