XMU at 105: Honoring the past, inspiring the future

Xiamen University (XMU), founded in 1921 by the renowned patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr Tan Kah Kee, is the first modern Chinese university to be founded by an overseas Chinese. 2026 marks the university's 105th anniversary, advancing steadfastly towards a world-class university.
To mark this milestone, the mascots Xiao Bai and Xiao Xia tour XMU's three campuses and Xiamen University Malaysia, revisiting familiar places and shared memories.
