4 killed in North China coal mine accident

Four trapped people were found dead after a roof collapse at a coal mine in Xingxian county, Lyuliang city, Shanxi province, according to local authorities, Xinhua News reported on Thursday.
The accident occurred at about 9:15 pm on Wednesday at Guanjiaya coal mining company, leaving the workers trapped.
At 2:46 am on Thursday, rescuers recovered the workers, but they showed no signs of life.
The mine is affiliated with the Shanxi subsidiary of China National Coal Group Co, and has an annual production capacity of 1.5 million metric tons.
