China's MAZU solution is boosting global early warning capabilities as climate risks grow.

Chen Zhenlin, director of the China Meteorological Administration, said in an interview with China Daily ahead of World Meteorological Day that MAZU — China's AI-powered tool for the UN's Early Warnings for All initiative — is now active in over 40 countries.

China provides high-quality meteorological data to 153 countries and regions, evolving from a participant to a major contributor of global public goods in meteorological governance.
