Fujian hosts cross-Strait breakdance competition

A three-day breakdance competition was held in Fuqing, Fujian province between Aug 6 and 8 to promote cross-Strait friendship.
Co-hosted by Fuqing municipal government and a local breakdance organization, the event attracted 54 dancers from the Taiwan region and 56 dancers from the mainland.
Breakdance, a style of street dance that is beloved by young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, embodies a positive and energetic attitude towards life, aligning with the characteristics of the young generation.
The competition actively promotes cross-Strait cultural exchange and provides a platform for breakdance fans from both sides to learn from each other. It also boosts communication between young people, enhancing the cordial relationship and shared destiny between them.
