40 years on: British sets up academy to promote Chinese culture

To mark the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up, we interviewed Michael Crook from the United Kingdom. His father and mother are ardent supporters of the Communist Party of China, and fierce advocates for international socialism.
Crook, who was born in China in 1951, established the Western Academy of Beijing with his friend in 1994, and he is now chair of the International Committee for the Promotion of Chinese Industrial Cooperatives.
