Visual impairment can hinder certain aspects of individuals' lives, but it cannot eliminate a person's passion and love for music.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, visually impaired musicians from the two countries held a concert at the Beijing Concert Hall on Thursday.

Hanbit Orchestra, Taihua Angelic Ensemble dedicated a charming music feast to the audience. The group performed familiar pieces such as Sound of Music, Radetzky-Marsch and Er Quan Ying Yue. They rearranged percussion music from Kung Fu Panda, and Riverdance using traditional Chinese instruments.

Different from other orchestras and ensembles, there was no conductor on the stage. The event organizers said the concert was conducted through earpieces. Through daily practices and hard work, visually impaired musicians have developed a unique coordination.

The organizers said the group of instrumentalists aims to eliminate prejudice and to close the gap between the visually impaired and the non-visually impaired.
