An indoor temple fair awaits Spring Festival tourists at Beijing’s Dongcheng District Culture Center.

The carnival celebrating the New Year consists of exhibits of 33 items representing China’s cultural heritage and various arts, including “Shu Lai Bao”, a traditional rhythmic storytelling, and leather-silhouette show. Dose it sound familiar? Yes, it is shadow puppet Avatar!

Almost every Spring Festival related amusements can be found here. Paper cutting, dough figurines, lantern riddles, Chinese knots, New Year Pictures, Spring Festival couplets, and, of course, various kinds of tigers.

If you want to decorate your house with something that smells like Spring Festival, at the temple fair you may find what you need. The event will last until Feb 16.
