Centre-back Gil has became the fifth Brazil international to sign with a Chinese club in the past month after accepting an offer from Shandong Luneng.
Brazilian outfit Corinthians accepted a transfer fee of 10 million euros, one million of which will be paid to France's Valenciennes, who own 10% of the player's economic rights, Globoesporte reported.
