The 2025 Cross-Strait Zheng Chenggong Cultural Theme Event recently opened in Siming district, Xiamen. Running through July, the event features diverse activities and a comic IP of Zheng Chenggong, highlighting the shared cultural heritage and close bonds between Xiamen and Taiwan.

During the event, compatriots from both sides of the Strait will gather for the "Journey of Zheng Chenggong" exchange program, fostering deeper friendship and industrial collaboration.

Siming district will leverage its local advantages to launch a special "Journey of Zheng Chenggong" tour route, featuring must-visit historical sites linked to Zheng Chenggong and a themed culinary experience, allowing visitors to explore the legendary hero's legacy firsthand.

Meanwhile, the "Cup of Zheng Chenggong" Cross-Strait Original Square Dance Showcase will soon take place in Kinmen county, Taiwan province. It will see dancers from both sides celebrate the beauty of Chinese culture through rhythmic performances.

Artists from Taiwan's Jiutian Folk Arts Troupe and Xiamen's Siming Art Troupe launched a performance titled "Ode to Zheng Chenggong" along Zhongshan Road. The show brilliantly blended traditional Chinese drum arts, light-shadow technology, and installation art, creating a visual feast for audiences.

The event also featured five four-meter-tall NFC interactive installations, each symbolizing a different blessing, including career success, academic success, and wealth attraction.

These creatively designed exhibits drew crowds of visitors, who eagerly interacted with them while exploring Zheng Chenggong's cultural legacy.
