Villagers cast their votes in an election for the mayor of Cicun town, Shanxi province Oct 30, 2011. The town's top official election was held on Oct 29 when 1,554 villagers voted between two rival candidates who gained the majority of votes from a previous 16-member primary election. The election process included nomination, qualification checks, talks on anti-corruption, public speeches and final voting.
