This museum was designed by I.M. Pei, a native of the area. He is most famous for designing the Louvre Pyramid. Its exhibits mostly featured works of the Literati, a scholarly court class that spent a lot of time developing artistic expression. There was also a good exhibit of contemporary works that I had never seen before.
