Located on the west coast of Qingdao, Jiaonan has a total area of 1,870 square kilometers, a total population of 860,000 people and 131 kilometers of coastline.

Lang Yatai, which was listed as one of the national key scenic spots and a provincial-level scenic tourist resort area, is in Jiaonan. And Dong Jiakou has become a new port of Qingdao.
