The Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region opened its 13th sports meet in the city of Wuzhou on Nov 7.

The sports meet attracted a total of 29 delegations, including 14 from cities in the region and 15 from different industries. The total number of athletes, coaches and team leaders reached 6,326. 715 gold medals will be awarded in 20 sports events in youth group and 11 in adults group, making it the sports meet with the most number of participants and gold medals in Guangxi ever.

Hechi has sent 90 youth athletes to participate in competitions in diving, weight lifting, boxing, judo, table tennis and badminton.
