Pingnan's first Hundred Flowers Award for Literature and Art opened on April 27, reported ndwww.cn.

Thirty-one works of prose, calligraphy, photography, painting and music, won awards.

Pingnan artists create prolific works with a distinctive character, close to life and the public.

Su Weibang, Gan Daitao, Lu Linsong and Chen Shouyi, members of the Fujian Writers' Association, stood out among the artists. In addition, ten members of the Ningde Writers' Association and 51 from Pingnan have won many prizes at various competitions.
