近日，廣東省委書(shū)記汪洋表示，“要積極穩(wěn)妥解決好代課教師問(wèn)題”，廣東已列出時(shí)間表：珠三角地區(qū)用1年時(shí)間、經(jīng)濟(jì)欠發(fā)達(dá)地區(qū)用兩年時(shí)間，通過(guò)招錄、培訓(xùn)、轉(zhuǎn)崗、辭退等方式，積極穩(wěn)妥地解決代課教師問(wèn)題。

汪洋在與當(dāng)?shù)亟逃賳T的座談會(huì)上表示，廣東取消此類(lèi)臨時(shí)崗位的時(shí)機(jī)已經(jīng)成熟，這樣做可以使學(xué)生和代課教師雙方的利益都得到保障。
上面的報(bào)道中，substitute teacher就是“代課教師”的英文表達(dá)，維基百科上面對(duì)substitute teacher的定義是：a person who teaches a school class when the regular teacher is unavailable (e.g., because of illness, personal leave, or other reasons)，從這里我們也看到，“正式在編教師”的英文表達(dá)就是regular teacher。不過(guò)，不同的國(guó)家對(duì)“代課教師”的說(shuō)法也不盡相同，我們這里所說(shuō)的substitute teacher在美國(guó)和加拿大比較常用，英國(guó)和愛(ài)爾蘭通常用supply teacher來(lái)表示，而在澳大利亞和新西蘭則更傾向于用relief teacher。
