Diamonds may be a girl's best friend but combine them with chocolate and, as a London chocolatier has discovered, you have every woman's dream.
Unfortunately, the Diamond Stella Egg, which has gone on sale, comes with ahefty￡50,000 price tag.
Encrusted with more than 100 0.5 carat diamonds, the 65cm (25in) tall creation was made by La Maison du Chocolat.
Thought to be the world's most expensive Easter egg, it is being kept under guard at its Piccadilly store.
Made over three weeks, no glue or tape was used to attach the diamonds - instead a chef in London melted small sections in order to place the gems around the outside.
A spokesman for La Maison du Chocolat described its creation thus: "This is the most unique, exciting and individual egg we have ever created.
"The question we are asking is whether the buyer will want to eat it or preserve it," he said.
If the buyer is brave enough to break into their pricey purchase, he or she will find it contains many peach andapricotchocolates along with pralines.

這枚高65厘米的彩蛋由巧克力專賣(mài)店La Maison du Chocolat（法國(guó)巧克力專賣(mài)店，1977年開(kāi)業(yè)，在倫敦、紐約及東京設(shè)有分店）制作而成，上面鑲有100多顆0.5克拉的鉆石。
此枚彩蛋被認(rèn)為是目前世界上最昂貴的復(fù)活節(jié)彩蛋，它在倫敦皮卡迪利大街（倫敦的繁華大街之一）的專賣(mài)店受到嚴(yán)密的保護(hù)。
彩蛋的制作歷時(shí)三周，鑲嵌鉆石的過(guò)程中沒(méi)有用到膠水或膠帶，而是倫敦的一位廚師將巧克力蛋體的一些小地方熔化，然后把鉆石鑲在彩蛋外殼上。
La Maison du Chocolat專賣(mài)店的一位發(fā)言人說(shuō)：“這是迄今為止我們制作的最特別、最刺激、最獨(dú)特的一枚復(fù)活節(jié)彩蛋?！?/p>
他說(shuō)：“現(xiàn)在我們想弄清楚的問(wèn)題是，購(gòu)買(mǎi)者是會(huì)把它給吃了，還是會(huì)將它保存起來(lái)?！?/p>
如果購(gòu)買(mǎi)者忍心將這個(gè)價(jià)格不菲的彩蛋打開(kāi)探個(gè)究竟，他（她）會(huì)發(fā)那里還藏著很多蜜桃、杏仁巧克力和果仁糖。
