今天我們要分析講解的詞語是 participation 和 engagement。

大家都知道開會的場面，有些人是到場不發(fā)言，即不提問也不評論，這叫 participation without engagement。而那些在會上積極提問，參與對話互動并出謀獻(xiàn)計的人則是積極的參與，用英語來說就是 they are fully engaged。雖然兩個詞都有“參與”的意思，不過含義不同。
另外這兩個詞還有各自獨特的，不等同的意思。比如 engagement 還可以表示訂婚或約會；而 participation 就不可以。
