The acclaimed debut novel from Trezza Azzopardi is a heartbreaking and gripping work which recounts the turmoil of the revelations while avoiding sentimentality. Nominated for the Booker Prize in 2002, The Hiding Place is a semi-autobiographical debut novel which may stir some painful emotions, but cannot fail to draw the reader in.
