Superstition
 Superstition, a belief or practice generally regarded as
irrational and as resulting from ignorance or from fear of the unknown.
在老外眼力里，也有一些屬于迷信性質(zhì)的傳統(tǒng)。
比如：
1. Some tragedy will befall a person who walks under a ladder.
如果誰(shuí)要是從梯子底下走過(guò)去的話(huà)，那么厄運(yùn)就要來(lái)了。
2. Thirteen is a kind a unlucky
number.
十三一定是個(gè)不吉祥的數(shù)字。所以好多場(chǎng)合，老外都會(huì)避免13的出現(xiàn)。比如樓層沒(méi)有13號(hào)。
3. Breaking a mirror indicates seven years' bad
luck.
如果不小心打破了一個(gè)鏡子的話(huà)，就會(huì)預(yù)示著7年的壞運(yùn)氣了。
4. Good luck charms, such as horseshoes, rabbits' feet, coins, lockets, and
religious medals, are commonly kept or worn to ward off evil or to bring good
fortune.
和我們一樣，老外也會(huì)帶一些護(hù)身符來(lái)避免壞運(yùn)氣，比如硬幣，幸運(yùn)符什么的。
