Mental health findings make depressing reading

Youngsters in Taiwan are becoming more depressed, with children as young as 9 affected.

A hospital in the province recently admitted several children who were suffering from hypochondria, including one girl who has been harming herself since she was in kindergarten.

Doctors say the cause is likely to be excessive family or academic pressure, or failure in interpersonal relations.
