Photo Beijing 2016 opened at the China Millennium Monument in Beijing on October 15. More than 100 photography exhibition curators, representatives of photo agencies and award-winning photographers walked the red carpet at the debut.

Attendees visited a themed exhibition, celebrating the 95th anniversary of the birth of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the 80th anniversary of the completion of the Long March.

According to Yang Yuanxing, president of its organizing committee, Photo Beijing 2016 mainly consists of photo exhibitions, photo-related speeches and promotions accompanied by sideline activities.
