Bian Xiaojing: This is one of the best characters actress Bai Baihe has portrayed. Based on the life of a cartoonist, the protagonist Xiong Dun never feared exposing her shortcomings in her real life, and this attitude is most incisively shown in the film. It is admirable to maintain an optimistic attitude when illness attacks.

Shi Fan: A courageous attempt at reaching new heights in cinematography, editing and cinema art. Scenes are closely intertwined, and film structure immaculate.

In brief: Directed by Han Yan, the film is based on the real-life story of a young cartoonist, Xiong Dun, who died of a malignant tumor at the age of 30. The cartoonist learns she has cancer on her birthday, after she's lost her job and boyfriend. The movie focuses on her fight against the illness and the friends she comes to know in the hospital.
