"In the wave of urbanization, our traditional villages are constantly damaged by 'constructive', 'developmental' progress and 'tourism'. They are dying out at a dramatic rate." He said that those villages play an essential role in cultural advancement. By protecting the historical villages, individuals would have a place to call their spiritual home and the country would be able to retain its cultural root."We have to resist the invasion of ‘modernization’ over tradition."
