Renowned Chinese female director Ann Hui will serve as the president jury of the Orizzonti section of the festival. Hui's latest film, Golden Era, will close the festival on Sept 6. It is an account of the life of Chinese female writer Xiao Hong, played by newlywed actress Tang Wei. The film is scheduled to open in China on Oct 1.
