Peter Chan's 'Dearest' to be released on Sept

Peter Chan, director of Dragon and American Dream, has announced that his new film Dearest will premiere on Sept 26. The film focuses on the trafficking of children, a serious social issue in China. The police have rescued more than 50,000 children from traffickers since 2009, according to the Ministry of Public Security. Alist actors Zhao Wei, Tong Dawei and Huang Bo, who are parents themselves, illustrate how families are ruined by such crimes and say the film has "great social relevance".
