Man sets fire to himself at gov't buiding

A man has died after setting fire to himself outside a district government building in Southwest China, people.com.cn reported.
The 50-year-old died at the scene after being engulfed in flames at around 4:20 pm on Monday in Baise city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, a spokesman of the city's public security bureau said.
The man surnamed Ruan was a butcher in Youjiang district. The matter is under investigation, local police say.
