A teenager in Liyang of Jiangsu Province who was recently arrested for allegedly setting 30 fires explained that he enjoyed seeing fire fighters put them out.
Beginning at the end of last year, local police were frequently alerted to fires started at night.
Within half a year, a total of 30 fires occurred in the village and 36 stacks of grass were set on fire.
Acting on a tip-off, police finally caught the 16-year-old boy while he was lighting a fire two weeks ago.
