Displaced birds go on the attack

Some people, mostly individuals taking walks around Beijing's Capital International Airport, have inexplicably been assaulted by birds in recent weeks.
Many new and high-tech facilities have been installed at the airfield to scare birds off the runway. Birds living nearby may have been put off as a result, with consequent behavioural abnormalities, possibly inducing them to swoop down on people, experts say.
But authorities are in a dilemma over whether to find a proper habitat for the birds, far away from the airfield, or simply to drive them out of the area by whatever means.
