Air China unveiled its most recent member, Boeing 747-8, the first new-generation model introduced to the country, on Thursday.
The aircraft start flying on domestic routes on Saturday and will later serve on international sectors, including Beijing to Frankfurt and Beijing to Los Angles, by the end of this year.
