French students selling crepes flee city inspectors

Two French students studying at Tongji University in Shanghai selling crepes at the university gate fled when city inspectors arrived.

One student took a snapshot and posted it on the Internet, making the two students immediately famous online.

A netizen, dubbed as Yang Kejie TOEFL, posted a photo captioned "When French students meet the city inspectors" on www.renren.com, a social networking website popular with overseas Chinese students and new graduates.

Most students leaving their comments online thought the incident was funny and many expressed a desire to try the crepes.
