A China–Hungary youth cultural exchange event was held on April 8 at the Women and Children's Activity Center of Shandong Province in Jinan, bringing together representatives from both countries to promote cultural dialogue and cooperation. Among the attendees was Braun Tibor, vice-mayor of Kozármisleny, Hungary.

During the event, participants engaged in hands-on activities such as calligraphy and incense-making, gaining firsthand insights into Shandong's traditional culture.

A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a cooperation memorandum between the Central and Eastern Europe–China Association for Science and Technology Exchange and the activity center. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in cultural exchange, platform development, resource sharing and various projects, laying a foundation for sustained youth engagement.

The event concluded with a cultural performance showcasing both Chinese and Hungarian traditions. Chinese participants presented traditional dances, Jiaozhou yangko and rope skipping, while a Hungarian folk dance troupe delivered a series of electrifying performances. The finale saw guests and performers take to the stage together, learning Hungarian dance in a lively display of cultural exchange.
