The exhibition Green China in Motion: The Ecological Narrative of Pandas, Wild Plants and Macro Creatures, featuring images and books about China's vibrant natural landscapes, captured the attention of many attendees of the 24th Bangkok International Book Fair 2026. The fair kicked off on March 26 and will run until April 6 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok.

The exhibition, which combines natural science and artistic aesthetics, gives visitors a clear understanding of China's ecological conservation efforts and attracted more than 1,200 visitors on the first day.

As one of Southeast Asia's most significant publishing events, the book fair, themed "Read the Legend", has attracted over 300 publishing organizations from around the world in a 20,000-square-meter exhibition area.

The Green China in Motion exhibition, co-organized by Guangxi Normal University Press Group and China National Sci-Tech Information Import & Export Co, consists of three sections.

The Giant Panda section highlights the pandas' natural habitat and portrays these charming "ambassadors of friendship" through engaging images.

The True Portraits of Plants area in the Wild Plants section displays unique ecological adaptations that develop over time. These plants are not only part of medicinal and culinary traditions but also crucial to maintaining ecological balance.

The Macro Creatures section uses high-precision photography to capture insects and small creatures, showcasing their resilience and beauty and promoting the idea of ecological equality.

All the images come from three upcoming English books by ACC Art Books, the UK subsidiary of Guangxi Normal University Press: Giant Panda, Close-Up Views of Creatures in Wetlands, and True Portraits of Chinese Wild Plants (with Chinese versions published by China Forestry Publishing House). Giant Panda, with its stunning visuals and exquisite design, drew significant attention from industry professionals and Thai visitors.

The Green China in Motion exhibition is part of Guangxi Normal University Press Group's ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange. The group has worked closely with domestic art and design publishers through initiatives like "Bridge of Art" to share Chinese content globally.
