Xinjiang NPC deputy: Stronger rule of law strengthens ethnic unity

Yershat Tursonbay, an NPC deputy from the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and governor of Ili Kazak autonomous prefecture, said stronger rule of law helps improve governance in places like Ili, where multiple ethnic groups live together.
He noted that clearer legal frameworks can help resolve disputes through law, improve public services and better protect people’s rights, ultimately strengthening ethnic unity through laws, rules and institutions.
