Jingdezhen holds Spring Festival celebration spotlighting opera and folk traditions
Festive activities continued on Leping's historic Laobeijie street, the birthplace of Jiangxi stir-fried cuisine, where food markets, intangible cultural heritage displays, and ceramic exhibits created a strong holiday atmosphere. Cultural events such as calligraphy, painting, and woodblock printing were also available.
Leping is regarded to preserve the largest number of rural traditional opera stages in China. Exhibits at the China Ancient Opera Stage Museum highlighted the artistic and historical value of these structures and the local development of Ganju Opera.
The celebrations concluded with an evening performance at the city's ancient opera stage, featuring songs, dances, opera, and other art forms that showcased Jingdezhen's ceramic culture, Leping opera traditions, and local tea culture.
