A delegation of foreign envoys to China began a three-day visit to Northeast China's Jilin province on Dec 16 as part of the "Perceiving Jilin" program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The delegation, comprising 23 ambassadors, diplomats and heads of international organizations, is visiting the province to gain first-hand insight into its manufacturing strength, ice-and-snow economy and achievements in opening up.

The delegation arrived at Changchun Longjia International Airport in the morning and made its first stop at China FAW Group. At FAW's NBD headquarters exhibition hall, cutting-edge products such as flying cars and health ecosystem cabins drew strong interest, while the FAW Jiefang J7 intelligent factory showcased highly automated assembly lines, with robotic arms and AGV vehicles operating in seamless coordination.

Lebanese Ambassador to China Milad Raad said China's automotive technology had left a deep impression on him, adding that he would promote cooperation between Lebanon and China in tourism, trade and technology.

Peruvian Ambassador Carlos Vasquez expressed hope for deeper cooperation in industry and manufacturing to enhance the added value of exports.
