China says the Netherlands must bear responsibility over Nexperia

China's Ministry of Commerce said the Dutch government must bear full responsibility for its actions in the Nexperia case.
In September, the Dutch government forcibly took control of the Chinese-owned semiconductor manufacturer, Nexperia. Yet, as China and the United States have now agreed to extend their trade truce, the Dutch government finds itself in an awkward bind — having failed to curry?favor with the US, offended China, and disrupted Europe's own supply chain in the process.
Nexperia's China unit, meanwhile, is pressing ahead — making deliveries to clients through the domestic semiconductor supply chain and beginning to settle sales in RMB to keep shipments flowing to automakers.
