Mountain flood kills 11 in Inner Mongolia

As of 9:40 am on Wednesday, 11 people have been confirmed dead, one remains missing, and one has been rescued after a mountain flood hit Urad Rear Banner in Bayannuur, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Xinhua News Agency reported.
The incident occurred on Saturday when a flash flood swept through the upper reaches of a river, carrying away 13 campers and four vehicles.
More than 1,600 personnel from emergency response, public security, firefighting, natural resources, water resources, and health have been mobilized for search and rescue efforts.
