The fifth China-Africa Future Leaders' Dialogue commenced on July 23 in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province. Twenty-six young African delegates from 23 countries began a four-day exchange program in the city.
Launched by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the event has been held four times since 2021, aiming to strengthen China-Africa friendship by encouraging meaningful dialogue and collaboration among the two nations' younger generations.

On the first day of the event, African youth delegates toured the national experimental teaching demonstration center for teacher education and the College of Engineering's laboratory at Zhejiang Normal University, gaining firsthand experience of its digital and intelligent teaching environment.
The delegates also visited the Intelligent Precision Manufacturing Industry-Education Park at Jinhua University of Vocational Technology, where they saw high-precision machinery in action and China's successful integration of advanced manufacturing technologies with vocational education.
In the coming days, the delegates will also explore the rural areas of Jinhua to see the city's vibrant growth, strengthening the bonds of friendship between China and African nations.
