The unveiling ceremony of the Taosi National Archaeological Site Park and the launch of the "Three Museums Collaboration" Study Season took place on July 1 at the south square of the Taosi Site Museum, marking a new phase in the site's conservation and utilization.

Covering a total planned area of 519 hectares, the Taosi National Archaeological Site Park aims to serve as a demonstration park for the protection and sustainable utilization of national archaeological sites. The park has opened several exhibition areas, including the Taosi Site Museum, the Taosi Astronomy Archaeological Museum, the palace wall, the palace area, and the archaeological excavation sites.

The "Three Museums Collaboration" Study Season, involving the Linfen Museum, the Taosi Site Museum, and the Jinguo Museum, has also kicked off and will run until Aug 31. During this time, students, teachers, and archaeologists nationwide can visit the museums for free by presenting their ID cards and valid professional credentials. Activities include free guided tours, academic lectures, special study programs, and night tours.

The Taosi site, located in Xiangfen county, Linfen, dates back to between 4,300 and 3,900 years ago and represents a large settlement from the late Neolithic Longshan period. Encompassing an area of approximately 4 million square meters, it served as a core settlement during a crucial formative phase of Chinese civilization.
