Diplomatic delegation learns about ancient Chinese culture in Liaoning

"In the Imperial Palace, it felt like I had traveled back hundreds of years," said Sumudu Wilpatha, counsellor of the Sri Lanka Embassy in China. "The rich cultural heritage was well-preserved. Everyone could witness China's cultural legacy."
She particularly admired the color application in ancient Chinese architecture, noting the vibrant hues of green and red, which sharply contrasted with the wooden architectural style of Sri Lanka.
"If I have an opportunity, I will definitely bring my family to visit this beautiful place again because Liaoning possesses a rich cultural heritage worthy of global admiration," Sumudu Wilpatha stated.
The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, as part of a cultural exchange program. Since its launch in 2021, the program has attracted over 400 diplomats from 103 countries, visiting 16 provinces and municipalities across China.
