Global talent converges in China for tech tour
The second edition of China Tech Tour 2025 was held from May 12 to 18, as 14 elite doctoral talents from 11 countries converged to explore China's science and technology.
Spanning seven days and five cities — Shanghai, Suzhou (Kunshan), Wuxi (Jiangyin), Changzhou, and Beijing — the program provided participants with an immersive look into China's rapidly evolving science and technology ecosystem, while laying groundwork for deeper talent integration, academic exchange, and cross-border innovation.
"This initiative isn't just about attracting talent — it's about discovering China anew, through the eyes of global scientists and technologists," said Hunter Zhang, founder and CEO of INNO-APAC.
Global minds, shared vision
The cohort included university professors, AI scientists, robotics innovators and academics. Among them were scholars from institutions such as Nanyang Technological University and KU Leuven, alongside professionals from companies such as Siemens and Dyson.
These experts explored key sectors including:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Semiconductors
- Biomedicine
- Energy & Clean Tech
- Advanced Materials
The program facilitated close engagement with Chinese universities, industrial parks, and global innovation centers, while offering tailored matchmaking opportunities with government talent offices, tech incubators, and local enterprises.
