BEIJING -- China's Lijian-1 Y6 carrier rocket failed after being launched on Friday from a commercial aerospace innovation pilot zone in Northwest China.
Blasted off at 9:03 am (Beijing Time), the commercial rocket encountered an issue during its third stage flight, where an attitude instability occurred approximately 3 seconds after the engine ignition, according to the rocket's developer CAS Space.
This led to the activation of the onboard autonomous safety control system, resulting in the rocket's self-destruction.
