Sun Tzu's Art of War offers timeless wisdom on conflict, former Argentine defense official says

The 10th International Symposium of Sun Tzu's Art of War was held from Dec 5 to 6 in Beijing.
During the event, Francisco Cafiero, former secretary of Defense for International Affairs in Argentina's Ministry of Defense, shared his reflections in an exclusive interview with China Daily.
He explained that The Art of War focuses more on "how to prevent conflict than how to go to conflict", offering timeless wisdom for addressing challenges in human society today.
Cafiero said that the ancient military classic also reveals the inherent connection between conflicts and resources, offering a perspective on its application in modern contexts.
