Tengchong Science Forum 2024 opens in Yunnan

The Tengchong Science Forum 2024 opened in Tengchong, Southwest China's Yunnan province, on Friday, according to a report by the Yunnan Daily.
This year's forum, themed Science·Global Innovation and the Mission of Scientists — Empowering High-quality Development, is jointly organized by Yunnan provincial government and the China Association for Science and Technology.
The forum includes an opening ceremony, a keynote forum, 11 sub-forums, and 9 series of activities, according to the report.
In addition, the forum will also host a series of events, focusing on higher education, artificial intelligence, biodiversity and modern agriculture, and international intellectual property innovation cooperation.
The attendees at the forum include Nobel laureates, academicians, expert scholars, and business leaders.
