Rosberg Xtreme Racing signs Molly Taylor

BEIJING - Extreme E, the new electric off-road racing series, has confirmed that Rosberg Xtreme Racing has completed its driver line-up with the addition of Australian rally driver Molly Taylor.
A frontrunner in the Australian Rally Championship, Taylor joins Sweden's Johan Kristofferson at RXR, a team founded by former Formula 1 world champion Nico Rosberg.
"It feels amazing to be joining Rosberg Xtreme Racing and Extreme E on this new adventure," said Taylor. "I'm so excited to be able to compete on the international stage again, and to be part of a completely new team and series makes it even more special."
Said Rosberg, "To welcome a driver of Molly's talent is extremely exciting. Her experience and success in off-road racing speaks for itself. I believe we have one of the most competitive driver line-ups on the grid, and I can't wait to see what they can do together."
Set to begin in early 2021, Extreme E aims to highlight the impact of climate change, help rebuild affected communities and promote the use of E-vehicles.
Likened to an electric version of the famous Dakar Rally, Extreme E will take place across five remote locations across the world that are threatened by climate-related issues, with teams running mixed-gender driver pairings.
The inaugural season of Extreme E will begin in Saudi Arabia on March 20, 2021.
