Logistics costs cut to spur recovery
China will further reduce logistics costs to boost logistics efficiency, accelerate production recovery and return to normalcy after the COVID-19 epidemic, according to a guideline released by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport. The guideline stresses the promotion of electronic certificates in the transportation sector, facilitation of Customs clearance and market-oriented reforms in the railway sector.
Green channel aids air cargo transport
China's international air cargo transport capacity has been sustained thanks to the effective green channel measures taken in the sector during the pandemic period, according to the civil aviation authorities. The comprehensive measures by the civil aviation industry of China include a simplified flight approval process, more flexible time limits and round-the-clock online acceptance of flight applications. China now maintains scheduled air cargo flights with around 102 overseas destinations in 49 countries and regions.
