Taiwan reports another COVID-19 death

TAIPEI -- Taiwan's epidemic monitoring agency on Monday reported the seventh death caused by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The man in his 40s died of multiple organ failure Sunday after he tested positive with COVID-19 on March 24, the agency said in a press release.
The man and his wife had returned from the United States together. The wife also tested positive with the virus but recovered on April 11, according to the statement.
Taiwan has reported no new COVID-19 infections since May 8, with the total number of infection cases standing at 440. Among them, 368 have recovered and seven have died.
