The National Library of China (NLC), together with libraries nationwide, will hold a series of online knowledge-sharing activities to mark the 25th World Book and Copyright Day which falls on Thursday.

An event celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Wenjin Book Award, a non-profit award set up by the NLC in 2004, will be broadcast live under the collaboration of the NLC and the Beijing Media Network. Authors of a number of award-winning and recommended books will join book critics to exchange views and share their insight with the audience.

The NLC will release activity information on its official WeChat account, including library resources, seminars and reading events.

Starting from Friday, the NLC will invite readers to share books they read amid the COVID-19 epidemic on the library's Weibo account.
