27 nabbed for drug trafficking by air

LANZHOU -- Airport police in Northwest China's Gansu province have caught 27 suspects in eight provinces in a major operation targeting drug trafficking via air routes.
The airport police said their operation has effectively severed the cross-border drug trafficking air routes to five provinces.
During the operation, the police also seized 13 kg of heroin, 2.1 kg of methamphetamine and 499.6 grams of ketamine.
